I normally don’t comment on petty personal stuff but I’m starting to develop a list of people who routinely piss me off. That means, as my sister put it a long time ago, I’m probably “shoulding people.” Or, as a former roommate explained it to me, I apparently have some expectations which will inevitablly lead to disappointments.

Right now it’s up to three leading off with my aunt’s best friend who embodies all the progressive characteristics that I credit with directing this country into the sewer. She went full blown Karen on me when I overdid one night and mentioned that I’d been investigating exercising my second amendment rights.

Next up is a roommate who went passive/aggressive by pasting a load of stickers in the bathroom saying “flush the toilet every time please” when a turd somehow didn’t make it all the way out of the crapper. Somehow he took it as a personal affront. There are four people who use that bathroom and each has a different gastro-intestinal tract that behaves in a different way. I too find it distasteful to have to flush after somebody else but it happens so rarely that it really is that simple to get over it.

Lastly is another roommate who rightly requested that I remove a large, very heavy box containing a plastic shed I orders months ago from the front porch. It doesn’t belong there and I really do need to assemble it and fill it. My issue is that if I move it to the back yard, out of the way but still don’t put it together it’s an “eyesore.” This from a guy who has become a hoarder who can’t see that that vast majority of the eyesore material is his own that nobody else has complained about.
