In case I’ve not said it for the record I am a believer in Jesus Christ. I believe He is the only way to salvation and to heaven. The questions I’m about to ask in no way cast doubt on my faith. They add spice to what I already believe. I’m running each of the following questions against Revelation 3:15-16<\/a> 15<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> \u2018I know\u00a0your deeds, that you are neither\u00a0cold\u00a0nor\u00a0hot; I wish\u00a0that you were cold\u00a0or\u00a0hot.\u00a016<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> So\u00a0because\u00a0you are lukewarm, and neither\u00a0hot\u00a0nor\u00a0cold, I will\u00a0vomit\u00a0you out of My mouth” and Matthew 7:21-23<\/a> “21<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>\u201cNot everyone\u00a0who says\u00a0to Me, \u2018Lord, Lord,\u2019 will enter\u00a0the kingdom\u00a0of heaven, but the one who does\u00a0the will\u00a0of My Fatherwho is in heaven\u00a0will enter.<\/em>\u00a022<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>Many\u00a0will say\u00a0to Me on that day, \u2018Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy\u00a0in Your name, and in Your name\u00a0cast\u00a0out\u00a0demons, and in Your name\u00a0perform\u00a0many\u00a0[s]<\/a>miracles?\u2019\u00a023<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>And then\u00a0I will declare\u00a0to them, \u2018I never\u00a0knew\u00a0you; LEAVE\u00a0ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE\u00a0LAWLESSNESS.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firstly – What does it mean “to be a man after God’s own heart?” King David was guilty of murder and adultery yet was called a man after God’s own heart. Anecdotally, I can think of many other similar though less egregious examples. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondly – Peter denied Jesus three times – PUBLICLY – and yet Jesus himself said that “upon <that> rock He would build his church.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
