As I&#8217;ve continued trying to ween myself off of social media over the past two months, particularly Facebook, I&#8217;ve had more friend requests than I had in the course of any given &nbsp;year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m happy my social media consisted almost exclusively of Facebook. Between Instagram (which I still have) and Twitter (which I have completely deleted) I have no more than two dozen posts at most. Those invested in cancel culture won&#8217;t be able to use anything I posted there as ammunition to cancel me. Facebook on the other hand? I don&#8217;t care.
