I did something this past weekend that I haven’t done in a quite a long time and really tied one on. I got hammered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was useful inasmuch as it showed me what’s going on with me emotionally. Lots – LOTS – of pent up anger and frustration. Macro anger at watching the country I love being dismantled by people who absolutely despise everything that makes her great. Micro anger at dropping a piece of pizza back in the box face down. Anger at (and fear for) myself when I consider that ten or eleven years from now I’m going to want to retire and not. knowing if I’m going to be able to. Fury at those who stoke racial animus for ratings and clicks, at those who protect the narrative at all costs including the truth. Rage at the shortsighted in at the top of the food chain who seek to strip the common man of the great equalizer (1st and 2nd Amendment rights) for the sake of gathering to themselves any and all shreds of control and power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
